During this study, I decided to replace the yellowish-green skirts with bluish skirts and enhance the orange to highlight the complementary relationship. The positive effect from the observers was astounding when they saw the two paintings side-by-side. Near the end, I introduced the black outlines to represent movement similar to Degas. Feedback from the observers, however, drove me to remove them.
