This painting is an interpretation of the original oil on canvas painted by Aert van der Neer that is on display at the National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC.
The curiosity for this study was to bring a 17th century Dutch painting into a 19th century Dutch painting by introducing ideas from Vincent Van Gogh. The primary colors employed were orange and blue. Textures were built out using the acyrlic gels.
